Reinventing Divorce with Technology

We partnered with Bliss Divorce to reinvent the U.S. divorce process, making it more accessible, less expensive, and less painful. Through technology and AI-driven mediation, we helped the team build a platform that replaces attorneys with digital guidance and delivers faster, more affordable outcomes.

Designing Trust in Digital Divorce

The U.S. divorce process is long, expensive, and emotionally devastating. Families face 11–15 months of proceedings and an average legal cost of $27K, often losing up to 77% of their wealth.
Bliss Divorce set out to change this by creating an AI-powered platform that guides couples through the entire process—division of assets, custody, alimony, and legal paperwork—without attorneys.
The challenge was to design a digital experience that could handle complex legal logic, ensure trust, and provide a humane alternative to the adversarial system.

An AI-guided digital mediation platform

Together with the founders, we shaped the full product strategy and experience. Our team designed end-to-end flows for property division, custody, and support, and integrated AI-driven mediation with automatic legal document generation.
On the engineering side, we developed assisted mediation components, built robust AWS infrastructure for scale, and implemented international-standard security systems. Iterative testing with real users allowed us to refine the platform quickly and deliver a seamless, trustworthy solution.

From pilot traction to recurring revenue

Bliss Divorce launched successfully with over 1,000 registered users and 120 paid cases. The platform achieved a 100% success rate in finalized agreements and reduced the average divorce process to 3–4 months. Based on this traction, the business evolved from a one-time transactional model to a scalable subscription revenue model. Today, Bliss Divorce is positioned as the first online platform capable of competing directly with lawyers—bringing speed, affordability, and dignity to families navigating divorce.
